What's inside

A star map that follows your phone
8,920 stars, all 88 constellations and the naked-eye planets, placed for your location. Raise your phone and the sky moves with it. Works with no signal.
Tonight's sky
A plain-English guide to what's worth looking up for, tonight's moon phase, and an aurora outlook from NOAA's live K-index.
The ISS, live
Watch the space station cross a rotating globe, with the day-night line drawn from the real position of the Sun.
The Daily 60
One space story a day, written to be read in sixty seconds, plus this day in space history and the next launches.

Good to know

Is it free?

Yes. The app is free to download and use, and supported by ads. An optional Pro subscription removes the ads and adds the 110 Messier objects to the sky map.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Cosmos in 60 is on Android only for now.

Can I try new features before they ship?

Yes. Join the Cosmos in 60 testers group with the Google account on your phone, and Google Play will offer you test builds before they go out to everyone. Joining shares your email address with us; we use it only for the test.

How do I send feedback?

Email hello@cosmosin60.com, or leave a review on Google Play. Bugs, confusing screens and things you wish it did are all useful.

What data does the app collect?

See our privacy policy, which covers the website and the app.

Next clear night, take Cosmos in 60 outside.
